Recently, Vartanian and his team have
started using Scotch-Brite™ Clean and
Shine Pads on their concrete floors in
place of red pads. The pad cleans and
shines floors at the same time. With
repeated use, Scotch-Brite™ Clean and
Shine Pads increase floor shine to reduce
burnishing frequency, and in some cases,
eliminate it altogether. After repeated
nightly use, they saw a significant
improvement in distinctness of image
and shine. Before and after pictures of
the facility's floors show the effectiveness
of Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Shine Pads.
No floor finish has been applied to these
floors and they have not done
any burnishing.
