3M Tegaderm PICC/CVC Securement System

Providing patient care is one of the toughest jobs on Earth.

Among many other challenges, you face a daily struggle to strike a balance between patient comfort and patient needs.

When you’re selecting securement for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs) or Central Venous Catheters (CVCs), it can be hard to find a product that is both reliably secure and comfortable for the patients who need it.

However, as a clinician, you always hope to avoid the clinical, emotional and financial costs of catheter related complications.

On this front, it is worth it to compare the options available to you.

Comparing PICC/CVC securement systems: 3M™ TegadermTM PICC/CVC Securement System vs. Statlock®

To see which PICC/CVC Securement system prevented more catheter dislodgements, see the test in action, as performed on true-to-life models (note: although the models are convincing, no real people were used/injured in this test).

The test results are clear: 3M™ TegadermTM PICC/CVC Securement System has been proven to prevent more catheter dislodgments than StatLock®.
